I very often hear the expression “It’s not what you know, but who you know”. William Wesley can attest to this statement. Nobody out there seems to know exactly what World Wide Wes does, but they do know that he gets around. Wes knows someone for just about everything you could possibly need.
Wes has become famous for having an extremely large social network, consisting of very important people in the sports world. His career is difficult to label as he seems to be more of a social link than anything else. Plain and simply put, he connects important people. Funny, I was always told in school that being popular wouldn’t make you successful. Wesley proves otherwise.
Although you may have never heard of William Wesley, you can safely bet that every owner in the NBA knows exactly who he is, and are constantly keeping a close eye on him; even if they don’t really know what he does or why he is so damn powerful.
Very few people including Wes’ very close friends are able to give an exact description of what it is he does. Personally, I look up to the man. He is able to follow the sports that he love and has made a career out of his social personality. So what if we cannot put a label on his everyday life. He is an entrepreneur who has made a career out of himself and his ability to network with today’s most powerful celebrities and athletes.
