Hudo Turkoglu spoke out about Bryan Colangelo and the Toronto Raptors recently. He has publically criticized Bryan Colangelo for waiting until Chris Bosh was traded to comment that the power forward had “checked out”. He also commented that there is “something wrong” with the Toronto organization and that “nobody wants to go there anymore.  It’s not just the players who see this” he said.

It’s not shocking that Colangelo waited for Bosh to be officially gone before criticizing his performance. He is a professional and as such he has never publically criticized his franchise player. Now that he is gone, we get to hear what Colangelo really thinks of the new Miami superstar. Bosh’s numbers started declining shortly after the All-Star game. It is fairly obvious that this is where the talks initially heated up about the possibility of the three friends joining forces.  That is when I started to realize Bosh would be leaving at the end of the year. I fully believe Colangelo is correct when he suggests that the decision for the three franchise players to play together had been “brewing for a while.”

Chris Bosh commented on Raptors general manager Bryan Colangelo’s remarks on Toronto radio station the FAN 590: “I play this game as hard as I can every time I step on the court,” Bosh said. “On the back of my jersey it says ‘Bosh’ … The Boshes are hard workers. We have a lot of pride in what we do, in our jobs and in life.”

Bosh may have felt like he gave “his heart and soul” to the Raptors, and I’m sure that in his mind he did. But any true Raptors fan out there would probably agree that after the All-Star break, we did not see the same “heart” in Chris Bosh that was visible in the past; it was already beating somewhere in the sandy beaches of Miami. Chris Bosh did not leave Toronto gracefully. Let’s put it this way, I can’t see Elite Sports Tours doing a trip down to see Chris Bosh play in Miami anytime in the near future.
