On December 11, 2010 the UFC will be returning to Montreal, QC. Headlining the night’s fights will be Montreal’s own Georges St. Pierre. This will be the second UFC to come to Montreal this year and also the second time that GSP has been able to fight on home soil; the last time was against Matt Serra at UFC 83 in 2008. Anytime the UFC comes to Montreal you should expect to see a sell out crowd. Montreal is always a fun time, and having Georges St. Pierre as the headliner guarantees the night will be a success.
Georges St. Pierre looks to return to the octagon to face Josh Koscheck for the welterweight belt. This 170lb fight will coincide with the finale of The Ultimate Fighter where Koscheck and St. Pierre are opposing coaches. The show features fighters looking to prove their worth and make it in the UFC.
This is not the first time that these two fighters have squared off in the octagon. We saw them fight in a non-title fight at UFC 74 where Georges St. Pierre was announced as the victor in a unanimous decision.
Many Toronto fans are disappointed that the event is not being held in Toronto as they wanted to see St. Pierre/Koscheck as the first UFC event in Ontario, although personally I see no reason for disappointment as going to Montreal always proves to be exciting. The city has a buzz about it that you won’t find anywhere else. There is nothing better in my mind then a weekend in the exciting city of Montreal and watching GSP live. The best way to experience a UFC fight is to make a weekend of it with Elite Sports Tours. With a headliner like GSP in Montreal you know the event is going to sell out and there will be limited UFC 124 tickets going on sale to the general public. Elite Sports Tours offers several different UFC 124 packages for fans looking to attend UFC 124; you can often purchase an entire weekend package for less than what one ticket is selling for on the market.
UFC 115 was the fastest sell out in UFC history. Tickets were sold out in 30 minutes during the UFC presale and not a single one was available on the Friday when they went on sale to the general public. With GSP as the main event, tickets will be even more difficult to come by.
Elite Sports Tours offers complete tour packages to UFC 124 including luxury coach bus transportation, two night stay at the Delta Hotel in downtown Montreal just steps from the Bell Centre, and your 200 level tickets. Have a large group planning on attending? No problem! We can accommodate any large group and make sure you’re all seated together! Elite Sports Tours also offers Hotel & Ticket packages. That way if you have people coming in from all over you can all find your own way there and still be seated together at the fight.
Elite Sports Tours is known for providing the best UFC fan experience. This will be the fourth time Elite Sports Tours has taken fans from all across the GTA and Canada to Montreal for a UFC event. They also brought fans to several UFC events in Vegas, and brought fans from all across Canada to the first ever UFC in Vancouver. You can count on us being there when UFC announces the first UFC in Toronto. The best part about the package is Elite Sports Tours does all the work! Don’t worry about scrambling to find tickets close together or finding a hotel close to the Bell Centre. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the fights!
Sign up to be on the waitlist here and you will be notified when packages go on sale. See you at the fights!
